Welcome to this weeks NEVER HEARD THAT.

Canadian musician NELLY FURTADO has had a very interesting career.

Starting out as an electronic, almost trip-hop artist with Spanish overtones, she was very successful with her debut album and key single Im Like A Bird.

From those slightly alternative leanings, she went into another stratosphere when she embraced the urban and hip-hop genres and had a number of worldwide numbers ones.

From there, it appears as though she decided that after a fun couple of years she would return to her alternative leanings and she moved out of the central spotlight.

She also has focused on her heritage and recorded albums where she sings in Spanish.

I would really like to sit down with her and hear her story. There is definitely one there to be heard.
