Back in the 1990s, Australian band the UNDERGROUND LOVERS were gaining lots of credit points for their own distinctive blend of rock and electronica, particularly in the UK.

This was electronic dance music, but of the dreamy kind.

Real pretty stuff.

     Hey Lisa, I have a strong opinion that some Aussie bands have produced some extraordinary music – I am super keen to spread that message and do whatever I can to help them be heard (admittedly in my own little way!). The Underground Lovers really did release some great music in their time – I have quite a lot of other Aussie bands that I am going to feature in future episodes.
