Welcome to this weeks NEVER HEARD THAT.

There are a number examples of bands that gain respect in their home country but find greater success overseas.

Australian band THE TRIFFIDS certainly fit that mould. They were particularly well received in the UK and in other areas of Europe throughout the 80’s.

I was always intrigued with todays feature track Raining Pleasure. It comes from an EP released in 1984 called Raining Pleasure, though it was not the single and was in fact the last song on the album.

Maybe the band just really liked the name Raining Pleasure. Me, I really liked the sweeping ambience of the song itself. See what you think.
