Welcome to this weeks NEVER HEARD THAT.

Sometimes I think it is important to question the meaning of success. In music that is perhaps seen by many as being measured in number one singles and albums.

That is probably fair enough but I think there is another barometer altogether which is equally important. Peer respect.

Although Australian band NOT DROWNING, WAVING did experience success in the traditional sense, they gained widespread respect from their peers in Australia and throughout the world. They combined full band ambient music with vocals. One of the very few to have done that, and they left many in awe.
